Chief Akande looked at the beautiful woman sprawled in the passenger seat of his car.
He lived for mornings like this when her husband left her behind and he had the privilege of dropping her at work.
He liked her, and he wanted her. The only problem was that she was married to that awful Igbo man. Not like being married was such a big deal, because, truth be told, he had had more married women than single ones.
But there was something very special about this woman, and she was not that kind of woman. Adultery is the last thing she would do.
Yet he kept hoping for the impossible. He glanced over at her and wondered if he should just take what he wanted by other means, because it is as clear as day that NK would never cheat on her husband.
As he dropped her at her office car park, he said “Let me have your number. I’m going this way in the afternoon, I can drop you at home”
NK smiled politely and took his phone from his outstretched palm.
