Abass Baraou returns to the ring to defend his EBU European Super Welterweight Title against Macaulay McGowan at Toughsheet Community Stadium in Bolton, England on June 14, live on Channel 5.
Baraou (15-1, 9 KOs) won the EBU belt with a majority decision over Sam Eggington in Telford earlier this year. The WBA #2’s sole defeat is a split decision to Jack Culcay in 2020.
McGowan (20-4-2) has never been stopped but tasted convincing defeats at domestic level and should be overmatched against the German.

- Former world super middleweight champion Lerrone Richards takes on the battle-hardened Steed Woodall and aims to deliver a statement.

- Ryan Kelly and Gerome Warburton promise fireworks in their Commonwealth Silver Middleweight title collision.
- And Darlington’s Ben Marksby, Leeds debutant Ellis Price and rising Liverpool star Mikie Tallon also form part of the talent-laden undercard in Bolton on June 14.
