Lamine Yamal appears to have shaken off his groin injury, starting his third successive game for Barcelona in La Liga
Lamine Yamal has confirmed that he’s no longer in a relationship with Nicki Nicole. The Argentine singer was often spotted at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys this season, cheering on the Barcelona star.
In fact, when the Catalan giants stormed past Olympiacos in the Champions League last month, Yamal celebrated his goal by blowing a kiss towards the stands. Many believed the gesture was aimed at Nicole, who was seated with Raphinha and Dani Olmo.
Back in September, the 25-year-old singer told reporters that she was head over heels for the 18-year-old winger. Ahead of a Desigual event to present their new ‘Studio’ collection, Nicole said: “I’m very in love, very happy, very content. [He] taught me how to say t’estimo (I love you) in Catalan.”
However the relationship is now over, with Yamal confirming that they’ve parted ways. Speaking to Javi Hoyos on the Spanish television programme ‘D Corazon’, as quoted by Goal, the Barcelona star said: “We are not together, but has not been because of any infidelity.
“We have simply separated, and that’s it. Everything that is coming out has nothing to do with our relationship. I have not been unfaithful to him nor have I been with another person.”

Yamal has recently been nursing a groin injury, diagnosed as a form of pubalgia, which is the same chronic problem Lionel Messi once suffered from.
The Spain international has already missed a handful of games this season, yet he’s still managed to score three goals and provide five assists in eight games across all competitions.
Speaking to reporters ahead of Barcelona’s clash against Elche on Sunday evening, Hansi Flick provided a promising update on Yamal’s situation. The Blaugrana boss claimed that the teenager is ‘progressing well’ despite still feeling a ‘bit of pain’.
“He’s fine. Some days he still feels a bit of pain, but he’s progressing well,” said Flick. While there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel for Yamal, there’s a fear that the injury could hamper his development.
During an interview with Buenos Aires radio station ‘Club 94.7′ back in 2019, Messi opened up on the challenges he faced with ‘pubalgia’. The Inter Miami maestro said: “Pubalgia is complicated.
“I suffer from it for a while now. I do little training, and I can not play all the games.
“It is not a problem that can be solved overnight. I feel better now, but I still have not recovered and I still need treatment.”
