A MAJOR UK motorway has been closed following a serious collision.
The M1 in Northamptonshire is closed southbound between J18 and J16.
Northamptonshire Police have advised drivers to find alternative routes around the “serious road traffic collision”.
The M45 has also been closed eastbound between the A45 and the M1 at J17.
