Teyana Taylor will acquire four properties valued at over $10 million as part of her divorce settlement with former NBA player Iman Shumpert.
The former couple, both 34, have finalized their divorce after Taylor initially filed in 2023. They were married in 2016 and share two daughters, Junie (9) and Rue Rose (4).
Reports indicate that Taylor will not only receive the four homes but also a seven-figure financial settlement, a $300,000 Maybach, a $70,000 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, and a tour bus.
Shumpert has agreed to pay $8,000 monthly in child support and cover their children’s private school tuition.
Taylor will retain full control of her business ventures, including the fitness brand Fade2Fit, a dance studio, and various fashion collaborations. Meanwhile, Shumpert will keep his properties in South Fulton and Decatur, GA, along with a Miami condo.
Taylor will take over their Alpharetta, GA, home, purchased in 2020. The mansion was featured on their reality show We Got Love, where Taylor shared her vision for the home’s redesign, inspired by her love of art, movies, and cartoons.
Shumpert, who bought his South Fulton property in 2015 for $427,000, was also previously renting a high-end Manhattan apartment for $9,200 per month while playing for the New York Knicks. His current real estate holdings in New York remain unclear.Beyond her entertainment career, Taylor has built a strong presence in the real estate market, frequently buying and renovating homes in the Atlanta area.
The couple’s separation stemmed from alleged tensions over Taylor’s rising career. Sources suggest Shumpert struggled with feelings of inadequacy and frustration over Taylor’s success, despite her efforts to prioritize family.
Taylor clarified that infidelity was not a factor in their split. She previously stated on Instagram, “To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ ain’t one of the reasons for our departure. We are still the best of friends, great business partners, and one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our two beautiful children.”
