The Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni has claimed his landslide victory in the country’s elections shows his party’s strength despite the lowest voter turnout for twenty years.
His main opponent, the singer turned politician Bobi Wine, has accused the authorities of ballot stuffing and says he and his supporters were harassed and intimidated by security forces.
