Billie Eilish is currently on the cusp of scoring her highest first-week sales in the US with her third studio album ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft.’

Unwrapped on May 17, the hotly anticipated set arrived sans a preceding single – which Eilish was deliberate so as for the project to be consumed whole.
The move and the in-built buzz created the perfect sales storm around the LP.
And it’s gaining more momentum by the day.
For, according to Hits Daily Double, the album is now eyeing opening sales of 300,000.
Already a shoo-in for the #1 spot on the Billboard 200, the figure represents a significant jump from the initially forecasted 240,000-260,000.
The revised sum puts Eilish in contention to best her previous US sales high, which to date is the 313,000 start for her 2019 debut ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ Her 2021 sophomore effort, ‘Happier Than Ever,’ premiered with 237,000.
