Justin Timberlake can breathe a sigh of relief. Because his driving while intoxicated charge has been dropped.

JT made headlines in June when he was stopped by police in the Hamptons and was charged for driving while intoxicated after responding officers claim to have smelled alcohol and deemed him incoherent.
Now, after ample legal back and forth between prosecutors and Timberlake’s defense team, a plea deal has been reached.
As part of the pact, Timberlake will plead guilty to Driving While Ability Impaired.
Interestingly, while the term “impaired” is present, it isn’t a drunk driving offense. By contrast, its ramifications pale in comparison to the seriousness of a DWI.
Indeed, the penalty is a fine of between $300-$500. And it’s case shut from there.
A hearing has been set for this coming Friday (September 13) to finalize and formalize the agreement.
From there, Timberlake will press on with his ‘Forget Tomorrow World Tour.’
