Nathan Smith, known professionally as DJ Young Slade, is presumed dead after Georgia law officials announced retrieving a body from a pond near the areas they’d been searching for him.
The son of rapper and record producer Lil Jon and his former wife Nicole Smith, Slade was reportedly last seen on in Atlanta on February 3.
Now, just days after the Milton Police Department released a missing person report for the 27-year-old, they have followed with news the Cherokee County Fire Department pulled a body from a pond that matches the young man’s description.
At writing, police believe there’s no indication of foul play but an investigation is ongoing as the Fulton County Medical Examiner is working to confirm identification and cause of death.
Lil Jon nor Nicole has issued a statement on the finding as of the time of this report.
