Bristol’s Me and My Friends are ushering in the warmth with their new album, “Bring Summer,” released last Friday (November 14, 2025). The album is an explosion of joyful, sun-drenched grooves underpinned by reflective songwriting, a sound the band describes as a return to their “grooviest selves.”
The group’s signature sound—which has earned support from Giles Peterson and Cerys Matthews—is richer than ever. It’s a unique blend defined by Nick Rasle’s elegant vocals, Emma Coleman’s graceful cello, Sam Murray’s funky clarinet, and the tight rhythm section of James Grunwell (bass/production) and Fred Harper (drums).
Following their meditative 2023 album, Before I Saw The Sea, the band intentionally crafted a record that is danceable from start to finish, reflecting the energy of their raucous live shows.
Peppered with ingredients from disco, samba, gnawa, and cumbia, Bring Summer is a celebration of authenticity and the freedom to be yourself—an invitation to dance as a raw, unfiltered expression of life.
