PinkPantheress Makes History as the First Woman to Win Producer of the Year at the 2026 BRIT Awards

PinkPantheress has been named Producer of the Year at the BRIT Awards 2026, becoming both the youngest recipient and the first woman to take home the accolade. The win marks a milestone moment not only for the British artist herself, but for wider representation behind the boards in UK pop. This year’s ceremony will be broadcast live from Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on Saturday, February 28.

In a statement, committee chair Stacey Tang praised the artist’s understated but influential approach, noting that she is “quietly reshaping what modern pop can be” while opening pathways for a new generation of female producers. The recognition reflects a period of sustained creative momentum for PinkPantheress, whose work continues to blur the boundaries between pop immediacy, club nostalgia, and internet-era experimentation.

Her second mixtape, Fancy That, released in May 2025, further cemented her reputation for sharp, self-produced songwriting and diaristic storytelling. That project was followed by the remix companion Fancy Some More? in October, featuring collaborations with Nia Archives, Oklou, and Bladee — a cross-section of artists that underscored her reach across scenes and sonic worlds.
