Taraji P. Henson Signs Two-Film Deal With Netflix


Taraji P. Henson is expanding her resume. For, it has been announced that she has inked a two-film deal with Netflix.

With this pact, the ‘Empire’ actress will star in and produce two upcoming flicks for the streamer through her TPH Entertainment production company.

This follows the success of ‘Straw,’ which premiered back in June, and served as the actress’s first Netflix original film.

As reported, she will be teaming up with Tyler Perry again for the upcoming Why Did I Get Married Again?’ project.

But wait…there’s more.

Henson is also gearing up to make her Broadway debut in August Wilson‘s ‘Joe Turner’s Come and Gone’, opening Spring 2026. The Debbie Allen-directed play will feature Henson as Bertha Holly and Cedric the Entertainer as Seth Holly, with Kandi Burruss joining the production team as a producer.

Seems like the multiphenate star is both booked and busy, and expanding her role as a creative.
