Five people have been hospitalised following two separate road crashes in counties Donegal and Kildare on Saturday.
A woman (20s) was airlifted to hospital following a three-car crash in Lissacholly on the N3 Ballyshannon to Belleek Road in Donegal at approximately 2.10pm.
The woman was taken to Sligo University Hospital to receive treatment for her injuries.
A man (40s) and a woman (60s), who were both travelling in separate vehicles, were treated at the scene as a precaution.
Elsewhere, four people were hospitalised following another crash in Co Kildare.
Two cars collided on the R406 at Barberstown in Straffan about 2.30pm.
Two occupants of one car, a man and woman in their late teens, were taken to Tallaght Hospital while the driver, a man in his 20s, was taken to Connolly Hospital.
A woman in her 50s, the driver of the other car, was also brought to Tallaght.
Gardaàare appealing to any road users who may have dashcam footage of the incidents to make this footage available to investigators.
