The Headies 2025: A Night of Music, Memories, and Milestones

Lagos lit up on April 27, 2025, as the 17th edition of The Headies Awards took center stage at the Landmark Events Centre. Hosted by beloved Nollywood star Nancy Isime, the evening brought together Nigeria’s finest talents for a dazzling celebration of musical excellence.

Chike emerged as one of the night’s biggest winners, with his hit Egwu (featuring the late Mohbad) clinching Viewers’ Choice and Best Music Video. Mohbad was posthumously honored with Best Street-Hop Artiste for his 2023 anthem Ask About Me, while Rema’s ‘He is’ was named Album of the Year. The show was a powerful mix of electrifying performances and heartfelt tributes, celebrating the sounds that shaped the past year.
