A CAR owner quickly went viral on Facebook after sharing a method to deter fellow drivers from parking too close.
The motorist shared a photograph of the vehicle next to him, which quickly racked up 36,000 likes and comments.

The car simply displayed a sticker reading: “Please don’t park too close. I’m FAT.”
The sticker delighted Facebook users who had not seen anything like it and were quick to comment on the post.
One user wrote: “I need this sticker!’
Another added: “This happens to me so many times. I had to one time wait for a lady to finish shopping because she parked so close to my car.”
A quick sweep online and you will be able to find a range of similar stickers reading ‘don’t park too close, I’m chunky!’ or ‘I’m curvy’ all selling from 86p on sites such as Etsy.
With many usual stickers reading ‘honk if you like pizza’ or ‘baby on board’ it seems the blunt message caused an online buzz.
Within the thousands comments were drivers recalling incidents in which they had experienced a tight squeeze when leaving their car.
One stated: “Not only am I fat but I have to sit sideways and turn into the vehicle to get in because of my bad hip! Lol I’m going have one made for me.”
Followed by a Facebook user struggling to exit vehicles when she was pregnant: “When I was 9 month pregnant, some young kid parked so close to my car I couldn’t even open my door. I had to pregnant lady crawl into the passenger side to get out of my car.”
While parking too close to another car isn’t actually illegal, it can cause a nuisance and be very inconvenient.
Car stickers can be used for a variety of reasons, including advertising, safety warnings, and just for aesthetics.
As it turns out, they can also be used as a handy trick for pesky car that don’t leave you any room.
