It’s a strange day in the world of The Cure: their website has turned completely black, has a new logo, no content, and contains just a simple link to sign up to their mailing list. All their socials have changed profiles too. Simon Gallup’s son Eden, who is heavily involved in the band and has stood in for his father several times, has posted on his Facebook page simply the lyrics “This is the end of every song that we sing…” – from Alone, one of two new songs first debuted in Latvia in October 2022.
Are they gearing up to a major announcement? The last time they changed their logo, in 2022, was for the Lost World tour. Could it be the long long-awaited appearance of new album Songs Of A Lost World? Or even another live tour?…
Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
