Sainsbury’s Boss Warns of Budget “Barrage of Costs” to Hit Shoppers
Sainsbury’s chief Simon Roberts has given Labour both barrels over their move to hike employer National Insurance rates while still dragging their feet on crucial business rate reforms. Roberts said Sainsbury’s NI bill alone is set to rocket by £140 million next year—a “very significant” 50% increase.
