As she blazes international charts with the sizzling single ‘Push 2 Start,’ singer Tyla is hoping to garner a similar response to her new song ‘Tears.’
Delivered in partnership with Coke Studio (CS), the guitar-driven tune arrived on Wednesday (November 20) – just weeks after it was revealed the GRAMMY winner was part of the 2024 CS lineup alongside the likes of R&B icon Usher and others.
“I feel like in a lot of my songs, I’m dancing a lot. I really wanted a song where I could just sing, be more raw with people, and showcase my voice this time,” she said of the slower tempo ‘Tears.’
Produced by Stargate, the new song is also set to get the stage treatment soon as Tyla is slated to perform as part of Coke Studio’s live event hosted in the rising star’s hometown of Johannesburg, South Africa.
