IBB Reaffirms Commitment to Nigeria’s Unity as Political Allies Regroup for 2027
Former Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd.), has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s unity and progress as the Nigerian Project movement mobilizes ahead of the 2027 general elections.
During a courtesy visit by members of the movement to his Hilltop mansion in Minna, Babangida emphasized the indivisibility of Nigeria, stressing that a divided nation cannot achieve meaningful progress.
“I believe in one Nigeria, and on its unity, I stand. Thank you for following my footsteps and upholding the ideals of patriotism and national unity that we all fought for,” he told the delegation.
Call for Inclusive Governance
IBB urged Nigerians to remain loyal to the nation and its leadership, advocating for an inclusive government where all voices are heard and national policies are shaped through debate and citizen engagement.
The Nigerian Project movement, which consists of political allies and reform-minded individuals, is gearing up for national reforms and political participation in the upcoming elections.
With growing discussions about Nigeria’s political future, the visit signals a renewed push for national unity, stability, and inclusive leadership as the country moves closer to 2027.
