Beyonce Honored by Fire Captain Sheila Kelliher After GRAMMY Win

Beyonce receives special praise from Fire Captain Sheila Kelliher following the special moment they shared during the GRAMMY Awards 2025.

As reported, Beyonce won the award for Album of the Year at the 2025 GRAMMYs for ‘Cowboy Carter’ and, given the ceremony’s focus on fundraising for the LA wildfire relief effort, the award was presented to her by Fire Captain Sheila Kelliher.

Reflecting on seeing Beyonce’s name in the envelope as the winner of the Album of the Year award, Kelliher (who has served as a firefighter for decades) told Access Hollywood:

“I was thrilled when I saw it.”

During Bey’s acceptance speech, she recognized the hard work and dedication of first responders. Fellow Texan Kelliher was  touched and expressed:

“It meant and lot and it was really incredible…it meant a lot for everybody.”

Queen Bey also took pictures with Kelliher and the other first responders along with daughter Blue Ivy, a moment that will no doubt be cherished for a lifetime.
