Set in 1969 San Fernando Valley, the eagerly awaited series follows the Chambers family. Collectively, they are pursuing dreams that veer beyond the barriers of the time.
Patriarch Hampton Chambers (Oyelowo) is released from prison and, despite his hopes, his perfect family reunion doesn’t play out.
While behind bars, his wife Astoria (Simone Missick), and sons, Einstein (Evan Alexander Ellison) and Harrison (Jahi Di’Allo Winston), have cultivated a unique family unit. One that flips Harrison’s world upside down.
