IBADAN – His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr) Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin (Ige Olakulehin 1) has supported the Olubadan Estate in Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State with the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Naira while commissioning the newly constructed gatehouse and 500KVA transformer at the estate’s entrance.
The paramount ruler was represented by Mogaji Olori Koleoso, Surveyor Abiodun Reuben Koleoso at the event.
“I congratulate the residents and the project committee for their dedication to the estate progress. I charge you all to support the ongoing initiatives, maintain and protect the new facility ” Olubadan admonished the residents.
Hon. Sikiru Sanda, Chairman of Egbeda. Local Government and the representatives of the donor of the the said transformer, Hon. Akin Alabi echoed the Olubadan’s efforts, praising the residents’ efforts and pledged additional support for future projects.
The vibrant ceremony drew a large crowd of residents, community leaders, religious leaders, political leaders and business tycoons. Other dignitaries in attendance included Mrs.Foluke Banjo , Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Oyo State , Hon .Demola Ige, the Divisional Police Officer of Egbeda Local Government and the representative of De -Damak, the Aare Musulumi of Yoruba ,Edo and Delta State.
