Lord Sharpe Gives Green Light to Euros Revelry
Home Office Parliamentary Under Secretary of State Lord Sharpe has just overseen the passage of changes to the Licensing Act 2003 which will allow pubs to extend their hours if England or Scotland make it to the finals or semi-finals of the Euros.
“Much of the business of the Home Office is difficult, so it gives me particular pleasure that my last outing basically enables people to get properly on the lash. My Lords, please drink responsibly.”
Good luck to the teams. The country is depending on them…
