Zara Tindall could be ‘forced into’ royal duties by Harry and Meghan’s blackhole

King Charles’ niece Zara Tindall could feel “forced into royal duties” after remaining out of the limelight for many years due to the blackhole left after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties, a PR expert claimed.

As well as Zara, the King’s other nieces – Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and Lady Louise Windsor – may also need to step up and take on more senior roles within the Firm.

The King’s nieces have traditionally stayed away from official duties, only making appearances at large family gatherings in a private capacity.

But now both the monarch’s nieces and nephews may need to step up to fulfill certain royal duties.

This could be due to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepping back from royal duties in 2020 and the recent cancer diagnoses of King Charles and Kate Middleton, the expert suggested.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, the children of the Wales family, are still too young to take on duties, meaning it will be at least ten years before they start attending engagements.

Earlier this week, Zara, Beatrice, and Eugenie impressed crowds at a Buckingham Palace garden party where they were supporting the Prince of Wales.

Laura Perkes, a PR strategist and reputation manager, told GB News about the potential pitfalls for Zara, Beatrice, Eugenie, and Louise if they decide to take on more royal duties.

She said: “It may be that Zara, Beatrice, Eugenie, and Louise feel forced into royal duty after years of enjoying being out of the limelight and living relatively ‘normal’ and ‘quiet’ lives away from the spotlight.

“As such, it may take longer for the public to warm up to them and accept them as influential, public figures.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from their senior working royal duties in 2020 and relocated to California, US.

Since then, Harry has returned to the UK for various occassions including his father, King Charles’ coronation and for his legal court cases against the media, while Meghan only joined him once for the late Queen’s funeral.

The Duke returned to London on May 7 to attend the 10th anniversary for his charity, Invictus Games, but no other Royal Family member was in attendance other than his late mother’s brother, Earl Spencer.
