The M25 Dartford Crossing was plunged into chaos and travel mayhem after a police incident brought delays of an hour for travelers.
The incident was first reported at 2pm on Saturday afternoon.
National Highways confirmed: “Lane 1 (of 4 ) is closed on the A282 south QEII Bridge at Dartford Crossing. This is due to a Police led incident.”
The roads agency said there are delays of 45 minutes.
