Labour holds 30 seats out of the 60 in the Senedd, so every Labour member needs to vote for Vaughan. The only problem? Two of them are “sick”: fired minister Hannah Blythyn and former minister Lee Waters. Which would be a good explanation for their non-voting, if it wasn’t so incredibly easy to vote remotely…
Members vote virtually in the Senedd the whole time. A Tory member is doing so today. All you have to do is let IT know beforehand, get a device with wifi, and use the remote voting system to cast your vote. Is Gething welling up because his ex-ministers won’t save him?
