BMS Nehmesis – $3 million
The BMS Nehmesis is a custom motorcycle with a unique design. BMS Choppers made it with a handcrafted frame and gold plating. In 2006, it was the first metric cruiser to compete in the Rats Hole show at Daytona Beach and won its category. The bike has a custom Yamaha Road Star engine. It also has a special frame, a unique gas tank, and a single-sided swingarm.
Hildebrand & Wolfmuller – $3.5 million
The Hildebrand & Wolfmüller, made from 1894 to 1897, is the first production motorcycle. Around 2,000 units were made, but it didn’t sell well because of its high price and competition. In March 2023, one sold for €195,500. There is no record of it being worth $3.5 million. The highest auction price was €195,500.
Ecosse ES1 Spirit – $3.6 million
The Ecosse ES1 Spirit is a rare, high-performance motorcycle worth $3.6 million. It has a titanium frame and a 1,000-cc V4 engine with 200 horsepower. It can go up to 230 mph. The bike has a frameless structure, carbon fibre suspension, and F1-spec dampers. Only a few were made, making it a collector’s item.
1949 E90 AJS Porcupine – $7 million
The 1949 E90 AJS Porcupine is a famous British motorcycle. It won the first 500cc World Championship in 1949. Bertie Goodman designed it. The bike had a 500cc parallel-twin engine with an overhead camshaft, which was rare at the time. This design helped it perform and handle well.
AJS was a motorcycle maker with a strong racing history, but it faced financial problems early on. In 1949, they only made four Porcupine bikes. One of these, ridden by Les Graham, won the 1949 World Championship.
Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Fighter – $11 million
The Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Fighter is a very special motorcycle. It tops the list of the most expensive bikes. It sold for $11 million at auction, with only 45 units ever made, making it extremely rare. It was first priced at $110,000, but its value has gone up over time. The bike has a 160-horsepower engine and a carbon fibre frame. Its unique design and limited production make it very popular with collectors.
