90s pop group Deuce have reunited at an event in London years after they split in 1997.
Kelly O’Keefe, Craig Robert Young, Lisa Armstrong, and Paul Holmes – also known as Deuce – reunited after 27 years in London this week.
The band broke up in the 90s but came together for a sweet event celebrating the re-issue of their album On the Loose!.
An image shared on social media showed the bandmates smiling and laughing as they posed together outside The Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
The caption of a post from the event organisers revealed: ‘@craigrobertyoung Kelly @lisaarmstrongmakeup and Paul joined us for this very special “Day Glo” event, celebrating their Cherry Red re-issue of Deuce On The Loose The event featured chats, meet and greet and plenty of photos.’
Fans were delighted to see the band back together again and took to the comments to share their excitement.
‘So jealous of everyone who got to see the original Deuce in the flesh! ❤️❤️❤️❤️,’ commented music.film.tv.
‘Brilliant night on Saturday. Thanks for an amazing evening meeting Deuce band members xx’ said Norfolkgayguys.
‘Was such an incredible evening. Will definitely go down as one of the best for me 💚’ said Popsmith, yet another fan who went to meet the band.
The Britpop band released four top-30 singles in the UK charts during 1995 and 1996 including Call It Love, Let’s Call It a Day, I Need You, and On The Bible.
Their most successful hit was I Need You which peaked at number 10 on the UK charts.
After breaking up in 1997 when Kelly quit the band, the bandmates all went on to do different things.
Craig Robert Young went on to have an acting career with several minor appearances in various television shows including Charmed, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Melrose Place, The Vortex, Mank, and The District.
Lisa Armstrong, 47, went on to become a makeup artist on Strictly Come Dancing and was famously married to Ant McPartlin for 11 years before he married his former assistant Anne-Marie Corbett in 2021.
The pair met in the 1994 Smash Hits tour in Newcastle, when Deuce performed alongside Ant and Dec.
The couple was together for over a decade before Ant proposed to Lisa. They divorced in 2018 after a total of 21 years together.
Despite the split, Lisa made a rare gesture of support 6 years after divorce as she liked a post on X commemorating Saturday Night Takeaway, Ant and Dec’s beloved series as it came to an end.
