IBADAN – One of the fast rising Nollywood actress, Akinola Yusroh popularly known as Damilola Royal has confirmed that acting is an inbuilt thing for her.
Speaking with journalists about her passion for acting and film making, Damilola Royal, a graduate of Federal School Of Statistics Ibadan, said “I have been passionate about acting ever since I was little.”
She maintained that her passion for acting made her push forward while growing up.
She said, “I had many actors and actresses that I looked up to and it has really sharpened my decision of pursuing a career in acting.”
“Acting for me is an inbuilt thing and I am grateful to God that I followed this path.”
While speaking about her first day on movie set, the Osun State born actress said, “It was a bit emotional for me because I was scared and skeptical of what the director’s reaction would be, but I thank God it was indeed a roller coaster for me while delivering my lines.”
“I have been privileged to work with some directors that have helped my career, that really makes learning more easier for me and through the process, I will say it was indeed a great thing for me.”
Speaking about the movie that brought her into limelight, Damilola Royal said the movie titled “Eyiyemi” which was produced by Yetunde Akinola, directed by Ashafa gave her a lot of recognition.
She said, Eyiyemi movie gave me lots of recognition and changed my perspective about a lot of things in the film making industry, I’m so glad for been part of the project.
