AHZ Nigeria holds UK education fair from October 3 to 12

AHZ Nigeria, which has been at the forefront of representing top UK universities, and helping Nigerian students gain admission into prestigious institutions in the country, is set to hold an education fair for aspiring students from October 3 to 12, 2024.

Dr. Olukayode Shiroye, the Country Director of AHZ Nigeria and a doctor of computer science, who revealed this in a press statement, which he personally signed, stated that the fair will take place across four major cities in Nigeria including Ibadan, Oyo State on October 3, 2024, at Golden Tulip Hotel, Lagos on October 5, 2024, and at Ibis on Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos.

Other venues of the fair, he said, are Port Harcourt, Rivers Stateon October 8, 2024 at Hotel Presidentia, Abuja on October 10, 2024 at the Nicon Luxury Hotels, and Accra, Ghana on October 12, 2024 – Lancaster Accra Hotels

According to Dr Shiroye, the event will run from 9:00am to 4:00pm each day, adding that it’s completely free to attend.

“We look forward to seeing prospective students and their parents. This is a fantastic opportunity to get firsthand information on studying in the UK and securing a spot in one of the top institutions.

“The AHZ UK Education Fair is a fantastic opportunity for students and parents to meet with representatives from top UK universities, explore a wide range of courses, and understand their eligibility for admission.

“One of the key highlights of the fair is the on-the-spot assessments, where students can get immediate feedback on their eligibility and receive guidance on their visa applications. We’ll also be discussing scholarship opportunities, including awards of up to £5,000, which could help ease the financial burden. More importantly, the fair offers personalized counseling from our team of experts.

“We help students find the right course based on their strengths and career goals. The fair is completely free, and we encourage everyone to come with their questions and concerns,” he said.

The Country Director stressed that studying in the UK offers a world-class education and exposure to a global network of professionals, which he said is a huge advantage for Nigerian students.

He said further that the UK academic institutions are known for their high standards, innovative teaching methods, and diverse course offerings.

He said: “But it’s not just about the prestige; it’s about how this education translates back into society here in Nigeria. Students return with advanced skills and knowledge that can directly impact Nigeria’s development—whether in healthcare, technology, business, or any other field. We always emphasise that the value of your knowledge should reflect in your contributions to the society and economy here at home.

“The economic challenges, particularly the high exchange rate, have certainly put a strain on many students aspiring to study abroad. However, these challenges have also reinforced the importance of quality education and skill acquisition. More students are looking to study abroad, not only for academic reasons but also to prepare for a highly competitive job market and to acquire the global perspective needed to address Nigeria’s own issues.

“A UK education equips students with problem-solving skills that are essential for navigating complex economic environments. With the right knowledge and tools, graduates can help alleviate some of the structural challenges we face today in Nigeria.”

He explained further that it’s heartbreaking to hear about students, who he said have been misled by fraudulent agencies.

To avoid falling into such traps, he said, students should ensure they work with reputable agencies that have a proven track record.

“At AHZ Nigeria, our reputation speaks for itself—we are recognized by top UK universities and have successfully placed thousands of students in programs that match their career aspirations. Transparency is key; we provide all our services 100% free, from counseling to application assistance.

“We encourage students to research, ask for referrals, and confirm the legitimacy of any agency they consider working with.

“Our services are not only reliable but also accessible with our offices across major cities in Nigeria including: Abuja, Kano, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Enugu, Lagos Mainland (Opebi Ikeja) and Lagos Island (Admiralty Lekki), we ensure that students can pursue their dreams without unnecessary risks,” the statement read.
