APC Will Win All The 36 States After Edo, Ondo – Ganduje | The Bureau Newspaper

Abuja, Nigeria – The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has expressed strong confidence that the party will capture all 36 states in Nigeria if their goals are achieved. Ganduje made this assertion while receiving the leadership of the Kano State Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) on Thursday.

During the meeting, Ganduje emphasized the party’s determination to reclaim Edo State, which was lost to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) due to internal conflicts. He noted that Edo was originally an APC stronghold and expressed optimism about recovering it in the upcoming elections.

“For Ondo, it’s already an APC state,” Ganduje said, highlighting the challenges faced following the death of the former governor. He explained that the party successfully navigated these issues and conducted primaries to select a candidate favored by the people. The Ondo election is scheduled for November, and the party is preparing vigorously for it.

Ganduje also outlined the APC’s strategic focus on Anambra State, which has been governed by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for many years. He pointed out the party’s plans to increase its influence in the South-East geopolitical zone, where he believes APC has been historically underrepresented.

“If we win Edo, we will be getting an additional state for the party. It will be 21 states out of 36,” Ganduje remarked. He further noted that the APC already governs Ebonyi and Imo in the South-East and is keen on expanding its presence in the region.

Ganduje concluded with a bold prediction: “If we get what we want, we will capture all the states.” The APC chairman’s remarks reflect the party’s ambitious strategy to consolidate its power across Nigeria in the upcoming elections.
