ABUJA – The farm-loving governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umar Bago, has eulogised his ally and former lawmaker, Hon. Robinson Uwak for his contributions towards nation-building.
In a signed statement to congratulate the former federal legislator on his birthday anniversary, Governor Bago noted that Uwak’s landmark projects in his constituency in Akwa Ibom State have continued to touch the lives of his constituents positively.
Bago stated that he shared the same vision of a prosperous society with Uwak, whom he described as a “young, exceptional, elegant politician and a dependable friend.”
“You were undoubtedly one of the intellects in the 7th Assembly where you represented Oron, Mbo, Okobo, Ure-Offong/Oruko, and Udung-Uka Federal Constituency of Akwa Ibom State,” he said.
“Your contributions to nation-building are unimaginable, and your impact on your constituents is still speaking for you positively.
“You have in so many ways demonstrated your confidence and trust in me, especially when you vigorously campaigned and galvanized support for my speakership in 2019.
“As I reflect on the days when we served together in the National Assembly, I am reminded of the incredible teamwork and dedication that defined our shared vision over the years for a better society which has strengthened our resolve to serve humanity in the best possible ways.
“Celebrating your birthday is a delight to me, knowing that you will forge ahead with our vision for a prosperous society” Governor Bago wrote.
