The trailer for the third season of Gangs of London has finally arrived, over two years after the explosive finale of the second season.
The adrenaline-pumping Sky series is critically acclaimed with an impressive 86% on Rotten Tomatoes and praised by fans as ‘jaw-dropping’ and ‘unbelievable’.
The famously gory show – starring Joe Cole and Paapa Esseideu – follows rival gangs and networks of criminal organisations across modern-day London – and in particular the impact on the powerful Wallace family empire.
‘Last night 600 people died in London and it wasn’t an accident,’ the trailer opens with former undercover cop Elliot Carter (Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù) dramatically narrating after a spiked batch of cocaine wipes out hundreds in the capital.
‘What would you call it?’ Lale, played by Narges Rashidi, replies.
‘An attack,’ Elliot ominously responds.
Although Sean (Joe) starts the season behind bars – it’s not for long as his escape throws everything into chaos once more.
And there’s still much more bloodlust, violent showdowns and heart-pounding cat-and-mouse chases to come.
The third season will be led by director Kim Hong Sun and lead writer Peter McKenna
