KATIE Price’s old Mucky Mansion is looking slightly less mucky as it undergoes a makeover – weeks after she was officially evicted.
The £2million pad’s lawn has been mowed and piles of rubbish left behind by the glamour model have been cleared.
Its swimming pool is still full of dirty green water and debris – including a slide.
Mum-of-five Katie, 46, was officially booted out of the mansion at the end of June after being declared bankrupt for a second time earlier this year.
Bailiffs turned up at the 11-bedroom property near Horsham, West Sussex, to take back the keys on June 26.
It is now being manned round the clock by security guards and CCTV cameras have been installed.
A sign on a fence outside reads: “WARNING. This is a secure area protected by CCTV Guarding & Protective Marking Technology.
“All activities are recorded to aid in the prosecution of any crime against this facility.”
A source said: “It’s clear they are trying to get the house in a condition in which they could sell it for a reasonable price.
“Katie absolutely trashed the place and it’ll take a lot of cash to get it up to a standard where they could get anywhere near its true value.
“It probably won’t be too long until we see it on the market.”
Katie – once worth £45million – moved into the mansion ten years ago.
But the pad fell into disrepair as her chaotic personal life and finances spiralled out of control.
In 2022 her attempts to renovate the home featured in Channel 4‘s Katie Price: Mucky Mansion.
OnlyFans model Katie, who has an unpaid tax bill of more than £750,000, was declared bankrupt for a second time earlier this year.
She was served an eviction notice in April, which had been extended until June 26.
Earlier that month she claimed she has sorted her financial problems.
But after being served the notice, Katie dumped a load of her belongings in the grounds.
Speaking afterwards, Katie – now living in nearby Haywards Heath – said: “The house is cursed.
“There was a point when I couldn’t even walk up the driveway without having a panic attack.”
Katie recently told The Sun how she was slapped with an eye-watering £800k after someone fly tipped on the property.
She said: “It would have cost me £800,000 to do it and it was a police investigation and I thought ‘do you know what, I don’t want to do it, it’s not going to add value to the house’.
“So it was a question of, I can either give the keys back and they can sell the house and whatever they sell it for at the market value then I get what’s left.”
Katie Price’s missing millions
At the peak of her career Katie had an estimated fortune of £45m, thanks to her lucrative modelling career, book deals, and TV appearances.
The cash-strapped mum-of-five was first declared bankrupt in 2019 over unpaid debts of £3.2 million.
In a podcast interview earlier this year she blamed her exes who include Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler and lawyers for her money woes.
She insisted that funding her exes’ lavish lifestyles with cars, watches, luxury holidays and homes left her finances in tatters.
She added: “I went through a breakdown, this is how mine started – lawyers and exes, that is my bankruptcy thing.
“And obviously a bit of HMRC.
“When I had my breakdown, if anyone has been depressed …. I don’t know if you’ve ever had depression…
“It starts with depression and you just want to sleep all day and not talk to anyone, the phone would ring and you wouldn’t answer it.’
Katie was declared bankrupt for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.
The demand for payment was made by HMRC last October.
Katie was due to give evidence about her finances at the High Court but failed to turn up – holidaying in Cyprus with her new man JJ Slater instead.
Her Mucky Mansion was a bomb site for years after it was burgled, flooded and swamped by an overflowing septic tank.
She finally moved out at the end of May and is currently renting a four-bed mansion in Sussex.
