Abi Webster’s (Sally Carman-Duttine) trauma following Mason Radcliffe’s (Luca Toolan) death continues in Coronation Street next week when the teen’s funeral takes place.
Mason met a tragic end in horrific scenes that saw him fatally stabbed by his brothers last month.
The youngster was attacked by a zombie knife while protecting Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) who had intervened to help his former bully.
After being rushed into hospital, hospital staff worked tirelessly to keep him alive, to no avail.
Abi sat with him whilst he was dying, and has subsequently had horrifying reminders of the brutal murder of her son Seb.
Her behaviour has become erratic as she becomes increasingly troubled by visions of Seb, with everyone around her is noticing that she isn’t well. Abi has remained insistent that there is no issue.
She eventually confessed to Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) that her grief had been reignited following Mason’s death, and asked her if she’d ever been in the same position.

Nina admitted that she does dream about Seb from time to time, which initially helped Abi, but when she returned home she saw his face staring back through the kitchen window.
In upcoming scenes, Mason’s funeral could be a catalyst for her to get help.
The residents gather on the street to remember a life taken far too soon.
Dylan, Tim and Yasmeen Metcalfe (Joe Duttine and Shelley King), Lisa and Betsy Swain (Vicky Myers and Sydney Martin), Maria and Liam Connor (Samia Longchambon and Charlie Wrenshall) watch on as the coffin is loaded into the hearse.
