There are more questions about the way some women are treated by one of Britain’s biggest police forces.
This week former Victims Commissioner Dame Vera Baird will publish a report on the experiences of women and girls who’ve been held in custody by Greater Manchester Police.
Separately, this programme has learned that a serving custody officer with the force has been arrested in the last few days after allegations about his behaviour towards a woman in the unit where he works.
