Worship for Change, a non-profit organisation, is set to host its yearly “Green Worship 7.0” concert on October 1, 2024, at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Ikeja, Lagos.
The event aims to raise N100 million for indigent children, orphans, and children with special needs.The funds will benefit several charitable homes and foundations across Nigeria, including the Flora Trust Foundation, Gilead Initiatives, Agbedare Jesus Care Foundation, Gold Gate Missions, Bethesda School for the Blind, and Jesus Orphanage.
Pastor Wale Adenuga, convener of the programme, urged individuals and organisations to support the cause by attending the free concert and donating generously.
“We are also launching a 21 days of giving campaign in October, hoping to raise even more support for these children,” said Adenuga.
Worship4Change has a proven track record of making a difference. In recent years, it has raised and disbursed over N130 million to 40 charities, impacting thousands of underprivileged children across the nation.
Four charity homes, namely, Joy in Africa Foundation, Asaba, Let Cerebral Palsy Kids Learn Foundation, Lagos, Sechilde Centre, Abuja and To Omo Re Centre, Ilorin received N8.25 million each last year.
