Guinea Writers Association Gets New Secretary General  – Independent Newspaper Nigeria

Guinean writer and poet, Alhaji Djély Mory Dioubaté has been elected as the Secretary General of the Guinea Writers Association (AEG).

Making this disclosure was the AEG Secretary General during a courtesy visit to the Secretary General of the Pan African Writers Association (PAWA), Dr Wale Okediran in his Accra, Ghana office recently.

Alhaji Dioubate, who was elected a few weeks ago, emphasised the importance of Guinea Conakry in the Literary and Cultural African landscape. He, therefore, called for a closer cooperation between PAWA and AED.

In his response, Dr Okediran thanked the Guinean Writers SG for his visit.

He promised to continue the already existing cordial relationship between PAWA and AED which culminated with an award for exemplary service given to PAWA at the 2024 Guinea Conakry International Book Fair.
