- Haney vs Garcia gate and ticket sales have now been confirmed by commission
Ryan Garcia dropped Devin Haney three times en route to a 112-112, 114-110, 115-109 majority decision win in a major upset at the Barclays Centre on April 20.
However, Garcia’s win has been embroiled in controversy as the boxing star tested positive for the banned substance ‘Ostarine’ in both the a and b samples.
The 25-year-old has insisted that he did not knowingly take banned substances and is arguing the possibility of contamination. The New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) is yet to decide on Garcia’s case or the result of the bout.
