A nationwide hunt is underway to find a mum and her son who went missing more than three weeks ago.
Axhelina, a 32-year-old mum, and her son, 11-year-old Rojs, were reported missing to police in Tameside, Greater Manchester last month, and police are now issuing a further appeal.
GMP Tameside posted on their Facebook page: ‘We are continuing to appeal for any information around missing Anxhelina (32) and Rojs (11) who have been missing from Hyde since Thursday 19 September 2024.
‘We believe that they have links to the North East, London and Scotland.
‘Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for their welfare.’
Specific details about the pair’s disappearance are yet to be disclosed.
A number of UK police forces have issued appeals to try and discern their whereabouts.
Greater Manchester Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with details about their possible whereabouts to get in touch.
Police Scotland confirmed that the pair have links to Edinburgh.
A spokesperson said: ‘Anxhelina and Rojs have links to the Edinburgh area.
‘Contact Police via 101 if you think you can help.’
