Blossoms are going to be the support act for Oasis’ 2025 gigs in Heaton Park, Manchester, it has been reported.

The group, who formed in 2013 and have three number 1 albums, are from Stockport, Manchester – just like Noel and Liam Gallagher, who first played together in 1991.

Earlier in 2024 the band – comprised of Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Joe Donovan. Josh Dewhurst, and Myles Kellock – Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds during a one-off Royal Albert Hall show in London.

A source told The Sun: ‘Noel and Liam and Blossoms have been friends for years and with the band also coming from Manchester asking them to support Oasis was a no brainer.

‘It will be announced in due course but Blossoms have agreed to support Oasis at their Heaton park shows – naturally they jumped at the chance.’

‘It’s a full circle moment for them as members Tom Ogden and Joe Donovan’s first ever gig was at Oasis at Heaton Park.’

Fans have been in a spin since the famously feuding brothers announced their reunion, with tour dates announced for ManchesterLondonEdinburghCardiff, and Dublin.

Pre-sale tickets opened on August 30 at 7pm BST and were soon snapped up by lucky fans who got a magic code in their inbox that gave them the first chance to get them. General admission tickets are set to go on sale at 9am BST today.

However, many dedicated fans were left ticketless and waiting in a queue of thousands as tickets went up for sale on unofficial sites for extortionate costs – some even reaching £10,000.

Oasis issued an official warning to fans, which read: ‘We have noticed people attempting to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale. Please note, tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @Ticketmaster and @Twickets. Tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be canceled by the promoters.’

Ahead of the pre-sale, Oasis revealed due to ‘unprecedented demand’ three further gigs have been added to the line-up.

The extra dates include a Heaton Park show on July 16, an extra Wembley gig on July 30 and another Edinburgh concert on August 12.

In the band’s home city of Manchester, tickets start from £148.50, with only standing available alongside a number of hospitality and luxury packages.

Prices for a seat to watch the band at London’s Wembley Stadium begin at £74.25, with the most expensive ticket a £506.25 pre-show party, exhibition and seated package.

The cheapest seats are Cardiff’s Principality Stadium shows, which will set you back £73, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium at £74, according to Manchester-based promoter SJM Concerts, which runs the website Gigs And Tours.

Standing tickets at Wembley will cost fans £151.25, with the same tickets in Cardiff and Edinburgh slightly cheaper at £150 and £151 respectively.

Noel and Liam announced on Tuesday that they had put their acrimonious split behind them, confirming the band’s long-awaited reunion by saying: ‘The great wait is over.’
