Over the past weeks, rumours of Saudi Arabia’s interest in Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr. have been growing multifold.
The Saudi Pro League CEO, Omar Mugharbel, has fueled speculations with his comments about the Middle Eastern nation’s interest in the Real Madrid winger.
Meanwhile, reports earlier this week claimed that Saudi are already working on a world-record €300 million offer for the attacker while also being prepared hand him a bumper €1 billion deal over five years.
Real Madrid will not sell
Now, according to Melchor Ruiz of COPE, Real Madrid have not received any offers for Vinicius Jr. and do not intend to let him leave anytime soon either.
The Brazilian international is contracted with Los Blancos until 2027 with a release clause set at €1 billion. As things stand, there is simply no consideration about parting ways with him as far as the club is concerned.
In the future, one conditions would need to be met for Real Madrid to consider offloading their megastar – Vinicius would need to request to leave the club.
On top of that, an adequate proposal would need to be presented from the suitors, with Florentino Perez having zero interest in negotiating any fee for him.
Only then would the club contemplate parting ways with one of their biggest stars.
So far, despite all the speculations, Vinicius has not communicated any desire to leave. Carlo Ancelotti also stated earlier this week that he believes the winger is happy at Real Madrid and eager to remain at the club in order to win more titles.
“But I already said it: I see him happy, wanting to stay here and win titles with Real Madrid. I think he will choose glory,” the Italian said about Vinicius’ future.
