From the wilds of a Scottish island to the maelstrom of London and back again, The Outrun – a new film which premiers tonight at the Edinburgh Festival – follows a young woman’s attempt to heal from a troubled past by returning to where she grew up.
It stars Four-time Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan as Rona, who’s trying to recover from alcohol addiction when she decides to go back to Orkney.
