When and why did you start boxing?

I started boxing when I was nine years old. I tried every other sport and none stood out for me until I first went up the boxing gym. It was Grimsby ABC, under the watch full eyes of Dave Raworth and Kev Blackett, who I still go to now. The same club for 19 years. Loyalty is a big thing for me.

Favourite all-time fighter?

Sugar Ray Robinson.

Best fight you’ve seen?

Best fight I’ve seen is Ward vs Gatti. Or a fight recent on Sky Sports, Sam Gilley vs. Louis Greene, was an absolute war.

Career highlight so far?

Winning Commonwealth honours at home in front of 1300 of my people.

Toughest opponent?

Toughest opponent I would say is Razaq Najib, or Michael Armstrong.

Best and worst attributes as a boxer?

Best attributes are my speed and movement. Worst, I’m unsure. I don’t want to exploit myself, that’s for them to try suss out.

Training tip?

Tips in general: stay active, get a bit done every day and every little helps. In boxing you give what you get. 100 per cent in, 100 per cent out, nothing less.

Favourite meal and restaurant?

Favourite meal when keeping it local would be Mocking Bird. They always treat me and my family to a nice meal after fights and it’s absolutely peng.

Best friends in boxing?

I’ve got some close friends everywhere in boxing. Across the gym we use for sparring. The list is huge, there are some top people, but a big shout out to David James Wainwright. Me and the team appreciate everything that man does for the management.

Which other athlete would you like to be?

Michael Jordan.

One thing you would change about professional boxing?

One thing I would change is probably check weigh-ins. Also, drug cheats. Once they get found out they shouldn’t get second chances, they should be banned for life.

Who would play you in a film of your life?

An actor to play me in a film of my life is tricky one. I’ll say Miles Teller.

Have you ever been starstruck?

I have, yes, when I was about 11 years old and met Frank Bruno at a boxing show. The guy is huge also.

When was the last time you cried and why?

Probably my grandad passing. I don’t really show emotion in that way.

Tell us something not many people know about you?

My name is actually Levi-Jordan.
