The singer was tragically found deceased after a presumed fall from his hotel balcony in Argentina.
Citing several witnesses where he was staying in Buenos Aires, TMZ reports that Payne Liam fell from his room on the 4th floor of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.
He was just 31.
It is not known whether the fall was accidental or intentional.
Payne is survived by seven-year-old son Bear, who he shares with UK singer Cheryl.
The late star rose to prominence after winning a spot in the trailblazing group during his stint on The X Factor alongside Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan.
