Check This Out! Reema Boys release debut sing Use Ur Brain

Reema Boys

Attention all you working class punk muthafuckas! Reema Boys are here to bring you a new phase of great noise from the mind of Richie Tyler with his new band of brothers carrying the torch of new punk to the kids…

Rum Lad is not dead. He’s just residing on a boat in a location he’s happy with after the turmoils that life throws at us constantly, yet if you’re made of concrete like Richie you can climb over that wall that always tries to get in the fuckin’ way. Being a prolific writer he’s back with a crew Reema Boys that have given him the taste to follow up on the Rum Lad stuff that has always been consistent and brilliant, yet been ignored by the plastic majors who don’t know a good punk tune if it kicked them in the arse.

With an upcoming EP that threatens to blow your speakers, Richie is now upping the stakes with two major talents that can add fire to his already blazing cannon, with added dance vibes he’s always threatened with his trail blazing punk sound as he explains:

“Use Ur Brain is the very first track from the newly formed Reema Boys, who are Richie Rum Lad, Kirk Summers & Jordan Courtney, Its pretty much about your usual idle chatters in the pub spouting the usual nonsense that they’ve got from the back end of a rice crispies box…all bollox and no actual thought into how the countries being run…which as per is looking after the toff end of the scale and not the grafting end of things…whats new?…its exactly what i’d tell someone in the pub and have done on many occasions”

The anger is still there yet Kirk and Jordan inject a new sound in there that’s not full of angry guitar riffs, but techno vibes and a bit of wonk we all love at LTW. The EP I’ve not heard yet but if Richie is in charge it will be a sway in sound yet still in spirit of the venom of the punk DIY warrior that the Rum Lad always had. It’s Reema Boys now. Remember that…
