Gustaffson, fronted by Andrew Gower and produced by Elbow’s Craig Potter released their latest single On Broadway on 11th October.
Like most of Andrews songs, the lyrics tell a story and are delivered in his own carefully paced and unique theatrical way. There’s no rush, and what we get is a highly melodic waltz cum musical number which smacks of Bowie’s Time cut with elements of Carter USM? What, you can’t hear it? They follow this release with their next single Flowers, featuring composer Bear McCreary (Outlander, The Walking Dead), on November 15th.
The band have been getting rave reviews around the country and head to The Deaf Institute, Manchester next Friday, the 15th November – Few Tickets Left!- Tickets Here
With radio support from Guy Garvey and a new album out early in the new year, the future is looking very rosy for Gustaffson!
