In freshly unwrapped details, the Federal Communications Commission received a variety of complaints about the performance.
125 complaints were tallied, ranging from concerns about inappropriate language and dance moves to other issues.
At least 10 of the complaints specifically criticized Lamar for dissing Drake on ‘Not Like Us.’
As reported, it’s the same song that Drake sued Universal Music Group over, accusing the label of spreading a false narrative about him being an alleged abuser.
Given that ‘Not Like Us’ earned Kendrick Lamar five Grammy Awards, it’s understandable why Drake’s fans might file complaints.
Additionally, some complaints focused on Serena Williams, accusing her of promoting ‘gang affiliation‘ through her role in the performance.
While these complaints may seem noteworthy, this is just a mere sum compared to the 133.5 million viewers who tuned in to the show.
