Kylie Minogue Says She’d Tap Madonna, Beyonce, Rihanna, & Sabrina Carpenter for a 2024 Version of ‘We Are the World’

Kylie Minogue is leaving few stones unturned in support of her latest album ‘Tension II.’

From television to print, radio, Web, and everything in between, fans of the Aussie Pop Queen have been royally fed by her dominating presence over the last few weeks as her promotional onslaught has been something to marvel at.

Among her most recent, headline-grabbing appearances was a stop by Audacy Check-In.

While chatting it up with host Mike Adams, Minogue not only dished about her October 18-released effort in earnest but also its supportive tour, career highlights, and so much more.

In lighter parts of the interview, Kylie was quizzed on who she would tap if tasked with recreating 1985’s all-star charity single ‘We Are the World.’

Her answer was quite surprising and wide-ranging.

“I wouldn’t mind being with Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Lana Del Rey, Miley Cyrus, and Madonna,” she said suggesting the lineup would be all-female. “If I could broaden it to 15 or 20, I’d have Rihanna, and Beyonce…all of them.”

1985’s ‘World,’ which assembled some of music history’s biggest names including Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Kenny Rogers, Tina Turner, Dionne Warwick, Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper, and many more, stands as the best-selling charity single of all time with sales exceeding 20 million globally.

The Kylie quote comes amid increased calls for her to collaborate with fellow Pop royal Madonna as the two have not only been quizzed for years about tag-teaming on a track but also made headlines in March when they shared stage time to sing Minogue’s classic ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head.’
