Since the arrival of ‘Cowboy Carter‘ teasers during the 2024 Super Bowl, the #Beyhive and #LittleMonsters – devoted fans of Beyonce and Lady Gaga respectively – have suspected the two have been subtly teasing a reunion to their 2010 megahit ‘Telephone.’
After months of speculation, Gaga – hot on the promo trail of the May 25 premiere of her forthcoming HBO concert film ‘Gaga Chromatica Ball‘ – finally addressed the rumors.
Look inside to see what she said.
While rocking the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Gaga’s Chromatica Ball’ on Thursday (May 23), the GRAMMY and ACADEMY AWARD-winning diva was quizzed about reuniting with Queen Bey.
“Whenever Beyoncé calls, I’d like to pick up the phone,” she told the press without specifically denying any new collaboration is in the works.
What she did confirm, however, was that her new album – the follow-up to 2020’s chart-topping ‘Chromatica‘ – is en route to getting its final touches.
“I have been working on my new music all the time and I truly live and breathe it. I just can’t wait to give it to the fans,” she relayed about the highly anticipated LP before saying it’s a “completely different project.”
As for when #LittleMonsters can expect to get their paws on the album?
“They hate when I say, ‘Soon,’ but soon,” she said.
The music update comes as fans gear up to see Mother Monster portray beloved DC Comics villain “Harley Quinn” in the eagerly awaited ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ movie that drops October 4.
